Trade Statistics
Trade Statistics provides - in the form of tables and downloadable Excel files - import and export figures for all products of the Harmonised System that are traded between Mauritius and other countries of the world. Such data facilitates market analysis and is available for the last 15 years, i.e. from 2000 to 2017.
Enhanced services that allow you to compare imports and exports (by value and by quantity) from different countries over a timespan of 5 years are now available. Additionally, you can now calculate your market share with respect to a particular country or the set of countries that trade with Mauritius.
Customs Duties and Taxes
Our online database allows you to search (by HS Code or by Description) for the tariffs and taxes applicable to products imported into Mauritius. Comparisons of duties and taxes under different agreements are also provided to facilitate analysis.
Other Useful Resources
A number of online resources, developed by organisations such as the International Trade Centre, assist in global market analysis and provide information on trade agreements as well as tariffs - these resources can be accessed here.
