The Energy Efficiency Management Office (EEMO) is organising a working session on the Energy Efficiency (Labelling of Regulated Machinery) Regulations with importers, sellers and resellers of household electrical appliances with a view to providing a full explanation on the provisions of the regulations and to address any queries they may have. The objective is to ensure an effective implementation of the regulations.

It is to be recalled that the Energy Efficiency (Labelling of Regulated Machinery) 2017 came into force on 1^st July 2017 and provide that a label shall be affixed to specific domestic appliances which is meant for display namely refrigerators, electric ovens and dishwashers.
