The competitions for SADC Annual Quality Awards are now on. These competitions have been running since 2011. The aim of the SADC Annual Quality Awards is to recognize and appreciate organizations and inviduals who are contributing to quality advancement in all sectors of SADC, by having measurement and quality systems, procedures and processes that are in line with local, regional and international practices and who use quality advancement to support national and regional economic development.

The SADC Annual Quality Awards procedure makes allowance for entries in the following five categories:

• Southern African Company of the Year
• Southern African Product of the Year
• Southern African Service of the Year
• Southern African Exporter of the Year and
• Southern African Individual Award for Quality

The closing date for entries for the 2015/2016 regional competition is 31 December 2015.
