Business updates

The MCCI, in collaboration with the European Union, launched a unique and one-of-a-kind programme on Drafting of Patent and IPR Agreements, which is being held from the 23rd of February to the 19th of March 2019.

This unique blend of the legal and engineering fields shall enable businesses and entrepreneurs to create new business opportunities by providing a new range of domestic and outsourcing services based on innovation IP practices.

The training is currently being delivered to a cohort of 30 participants, who shall be the pioneers in terms of Patent and IPR Agreement in Mauritius. Participants are taught in an interactive set-up with business case studies on Mauritian legislation and enterprises. 

The programme is part of the technical assistance to the MCCI on the setting up of an Accelerated Technology Transfer Platform.
