Business updates

On Friday, 17 January 2025, His Excellency (H.E.) Mr. Syed Zahid Raza, High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Mauritius, made a courtesy visit to the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

During the meeting at MCCI premises, H.E. Mr. Raza engaged in constructive discussions with Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee, Secretary General of the MCCI, accompanied by members of the MCCI Management team. 

The dialogue focused on enhancing bilateral trade relations and exploring new avenues for business cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions highlighted opportunities to boost trade and investment flows, particularly in key sectors of mutual interest. 

Both parties emphasised the importance of strengthening private sector partnerships and facilitating business exchanges between Mauritius and Pakistan.
