Business updates

A Council Meeting held on 7th June 2018 has examined the request of the Secretary-General to resign from his office with effect as from the 31st July 2018.  Taking into consideration that the Secretary- General has signified such intention in the past, the Council has unanimously accepted the resignation.

The Chamber wishes to place on record its appreciation for the achievements of Mr. Raju Jaddoo during his tenure at the helm of the MCCI.

We wish Mr. Jaddoo full success in his future career.

The Chamber has appointed Mr. Barlen Pillay,  Manager - Legal and Business Facilitation Division over more than 20 years, as Officer in Charge as from 1st August 2018.

The Chamber will engage in a recruitment process and inform its members and the public in general in due course.
