As announced in the Cabinet Decisions dated 3 July 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Consumer Protection has amended the Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods) (Maximum Mark-up) Regulations 1998 and removed maximum mark-up on the following items: adult and baby diapers, breakfast cereals, butter and spreads, margarine, pasta, processed cheese and pulses.
The new regulations are in force as from 14 July 2020.
