Opening New Frontiers for Strategic Collaboration: The MCCI signs an MoU with the CCIBFE

The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) hosted a high-delegation from the city of Victoriaville, facilitated by HR Pro Ltd including Mr. Antoine Tardif, Mayor of Victoriaville and Vice-President of the Fédération Québécoise des Municipalités (FQM) and Mrs. Annie Turcotte, Interim Director of Destination Entreprise - Victoriaville et sa région.

 

The delegation met with Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee, Secretary General of the MCCI headquarters on Friday 22 November 2024.

 

The meeting was also the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie des Bois-Francs et de l'Érable (CCIBFE, represented by Mrs. Annie Turcotte.

 

The agreement highlighted numerous areas of cooperation between Mauritius and the town of Victoriaville and its region including training opportunities for entrepreneurs, facilitation of bilateral trade and the sharing of technical expertise.

 

Additionally, the meeting also delved into the potential of partnerships with MCCI Business units and the role of MCCI as the CCIBFE’s key partner in the COMESA region.
