The 16^th version of GS1 General Specifications has been released.

The GS1 General Specifications is the foundational GS1 reference guide of the GS1 System.

This document is a must for GS1 Members as it describes how GS1 Barcodes, identification keys, and data attributes must be used in business applications.

This new version includes updates on Global Location Number (GLN) Application, on better support for applications that apply Global Document Type Identifier and use of standards in the area of Health.
