GS1 Mauritius is pleased to announce that new members who were allocated barcodes during the last quarter (May 2017 - July 2017) have been uploaded on GEPIR.

GEPIR allows anyone to:

– identify the licenced owner of a barcode and find out their contact information by simply typing a product barcode number in GEPIR

• – verify whether a brand owner is member of the 112 GS1 Member Organisations around the world

  – search over 2 million GS1 members globally

Stakeholders, business operators, supermarkets, customers, consumers use GEPIR regularly to check the validity of barcodes.
