Business updates

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Friday 14 June 2019 between the President of the MCCI, Mr. Marday Venkatasamy and the National President of NACCIMA (Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mines and Agriculture), Mrs. Hajiya Saratu Iya Aliyu. The event took place in Rio, Brazil, in the sidelines of the World Chambers Congress of the ICC World Chambers Federation.

Both MCCI and NACCIMA recognised the immense possibilities of promoting trade and investment for their respective business communities have agreed to cooperate in the establishment and development of commercial and industrial ties between the respective members of the two chambers. The MoU is designed to promote closer collaboration by providing a framework of cooperation between the parties in areas of common interest, mainly in textile, tourism, fisheries and financial services.
