Following the reform of the income tax system announced in the Budget Speech 2023-2024, the Mauritius Revenue Authority is requesting employers to apply the new system.

The new income tax system is applicable as from 01 July 2023.

Employers are requested to proceed with the changes in their payroll systems and to apply the new systems for the purposes of Pay as You Earn (PAYE) as from the month of July 2023.
