Business updates

In line with the Djibouti Week organized by the Africa Centre of Excellence (ACE), a delegation from Djibouti, comprising members of the public and private sectors, paid a visit at the MCCI on the 1^st October 2015.

The objective of this meeting was to promote Djibouti as a potential investment destination to Mauritian companies. Members of the delegation elaborated on the potential business opportunities and investment projects in Djibouti. A presentation on the MCCI was also delivered on this occasion.

The President of the MCCI, Mrs. Hélène Echevin, talked about the strong collaboration between the public and private sectors in Mauritius. She highlighted the role of the MCCI in the economic development of the country.

Both parties hoped for further cooperation and were of the view that future business ventures will be beneficial for both countries.
