MCCI Hosts International Webinar on ICC One Click Platform

MCCI 04 Mar 2025

The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), leveraging its membership in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), hosted an informative webinar on the ICC One Click platform on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

The ICC, representing over 45 million companies across 170 countries, is the world's largest business organisation.

As an ICC member, the MCCI invited its regional partners to this event, including the COMESA Business Council, SADC Business Council, and Cap Business Océan Indien, extending the invitation to organisations such as the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Unity South Africa, and the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries.

The programme began at 17:00 (MUT) with a welcome address by Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee, Secretary-General of the MCCI, followed by a special address from Mr. Julian Kassum, Deputy Secretary-General of the ICC. Ms. Mickela Vucetich, ICC One Click Campaign Manager, delivered a comprehensive presentation of the platform.

“As a founding member of several major regional business organizations, the MCCI is ideally positioned to introduce this transformative innovation to our regional business ecosystem. Our network extends across the COMESA Business Council, SADC Business Council, and Cap Business Indian Ocean, allowing us to have considerable impact”, mentioned Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee.

“ICC represents more than 45 million companies through its network. Despite their critical role, SMEs remain underrepresented in international trade. The statistics show that small businesses typically account for only 20% of total exports in most markets”, said Mr. Julian Kassum.

ICC One Click serves as a gateway to trade tools, solutions, and guides designed to help businesses export and grow globally.

The platform addresses key challenges faced by export-oriented businesses through its five main sections, covering opportunity identification, contract preparation, transaction execution, dispute resolution, and ESG compliance.

“This platform is not just another tool, it is a roadmap organised into five different configurations, each aligned with a different stage of your growth. Whether you're just starting out or ready to scale, ICC One Click has something tailored to your needs”, explained Ms. Mickela Vucetich.

An interactive Q&A session, moderated by Dr. Ramdenee, allowed participants to gain further insights into the platform's practical applications.
