The MCCI Afternoon Coffee hosted a presentation by the Cybercrime Unit, Central CID, and Mauritius Police Force on the theme 'The economic impact of Cybercrime and the need for an innovative insurance policy for internet banking' on 25 May 2016.

The purpose of the presentation was to sensitize operators about cyber threats and its consequences for businesses and also meet operators from insurance companies to discuss about the possibility of setting up an innovative insurance policy for internet banking.

The MCCI Afternoon Coffee is an informal event meant to keep Members informed of various topics of benefit to their businesses. It is also the opportunity for them to network around a cup of coffee.
