In line with Mauritius’ increased air access policy, Kenya Airways is now flying directly flights four times weekly between Mauritius and Nairobi. At a ceremony held at the landing of the inaugural flight on Thursday 07^th June 2018, Hon. Anil Gayan, Minister of Tourism highlighted the investment, trade and tourism opportunities presented by the direct flight between the two countries.

The new Kenya Airways flights complement the thrice weekly Air Mauritius flights to Nairobi and thus enables a daily flight between the two countries. This is in line with the strategy of the Government of Mauritius to promote the country as an Air Corridor between Asia and Africa.
