Mr. Azim Currimjee, President of the MCCI, welcomed a delegation from the IORA Chair Country, Indonesia, on Thursday 21st September 2017 to apprise members of the business community of the actual related to the economic cooperation in the IORA region.
Dr. Siswo Pramono, LL.M. Director General / Head of Policy Analysis and Development Agency from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, delivered a lecture on the implications of establishing a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement within the IORA region. He pointed out that the existing need to narrow economic gap amongst IORA Member Countries is one of the main factor to consider to measure the Closer Economic Cooperation in Indian Ocean Rim Association.
