The Economic Development Board of Mauritius has announced the Introduction of a Registration Certificate for Food Processing Activities which allows registered companies to benefit from :-

- 8 Year Income Tax Exemption

- Exemption from payment of Registration Duty and Land Transfer Tax for the purchase of immovable property

- Exemption from payment of value added tax on equipment and machinery
