The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has today strengthened its cooperation by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with its counterparts in Georgia, the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI).
The MoU, initially inked by the President of the GCCI, Mr. Giorgi Pertaia, was signed today 11th March 2020 by the President of the MCCI, Mr. Marday Venkatasamy, in the presence of Mr. Uday Gujadhar, Honorary Consul of Georgia.
The MoU caters for a consolidation of the mutual interest between the business of people of both countries. In order to explore new opportunities for economic and industrial cooperation, both parties have also agreed on the exchange of business information, the active participation of business operators in domestic and international fairs, and the sharing of expertise, statistics and training.
