The blue economy is the theme chosen for this first day of discussions, in the context of the Forum Économique des Îles de l’océan Indien (FEIOI).

What is the growth potential for our islands? What is the role of economic actors in the preservation of resources, and more broadly, marine ecosystems?

Regional trade will be discussed, as well as maritime connectivity and innovative opportunities offered by the blue economy.
