Business updates

Importers are informed that the Environment Protection Fee (EPF) imposed on imported cell phones, batteries and tyres is now payable at the MRA Customs instead of MRA Head Office.

The EPF are as follows: Cell phones: Rs 70/Unit, batteries: Rs 50/Unit and Tyres: Rs 50/Unit.

This measure is applicable since Monday 1^st October 2018.
