Business updates

Members of the Ghana Parliamentary Select Committee on Communications (PSCC) paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Mrs Namita Jagarnath Hardowar, on Monday 14 August 2023.

Headed by Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, the PSCC's mandate is to oversee and examine matters relating to communications and the sustainability of its allied industries as a whole.

The Ghanaian officials also had the opportunity to meet Secretary-General, Dr Drishtysingh Ramdenee, as well as members of the MCCI team, comprising Mrs Rooma Pillay Narrainen, Head of Advocacy and Mrs Sarada Moothoosamy, Head of Finance and Management, amongst others.

Discussions involved existing trade relations between Mauritius and Ghana, and new avenues that could be explored in the near future.
