Collaboration: The MCCI Hosts the High Commissioner of Rwanda

On Monday 16 September 2024, His Excellency (H.E.) Mr. Emmanuel Hategeka, High Commissioner of Rwanda to South Africa, Mauritius, Namibia, Lesotho, and Madagascar, paid a courtesy visit to the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

 

The meeting, presided by Dr. Drishtysingh Ramdenee, Secretary General with the participation of the MCCI Management team, focused on ways to enhance collaboration between Mauritius and Rwanda.

 

Discussions related to leveraging the bilateral partnership between our two nations through the organisation of webinars, joint partnerships with the MCCI Business School, B2B meetings and business missions to Rwanda.

 

The objectives connected to strengthening business ties and consolidating trade relations through avenues to partner with the Rwandan private sector.

 

The MCCI looks to leverage on this trade collaboration, having already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rwandan Private Sector Federation (PSF) since December 2011.
