Business updates

During the Budget Speech 2016-2017, the Minister of Finance and Economic Development had announced that VAT will be exempted on a list of products including breakfast cereals, CCTV camera systems, 3D printers and photovoltaic inverters and batteries, amongst others.

The above Budget measure is applicable as from Thursday 1^st September 2016. The list of products including the complete description and HS Code on which VAT is being exempted, as well as the MRA notice to importers can be accessed by clicking on:
