A two-day Forum on African Business & Social Responsibility was held from 20-21 February 2017 at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, Port Louis. The event saw the attendance of many high-level speakers from several countries and HE Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, President of the Republic of Mauritius.
The objective of the Forum was to allow organizations and businesses to share their success stories and best practices in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Secretary-General of the MCCI, Mr. Raju Jaddoo served as moderator on a panel entitled ‘Company’s Foundation and Local development' which included sub-themes such as Foundations and Governance; Alignment with the 17 new Sustainable Development Goals; Mechanisms of sustainable actions and Synergies with NGO, authorities and local populations.
