International Tariff Database

The International Customs Tariff Bureau (BITD) is an international organisation entittled to host the tariff database of several countries.The BITD offers the possibility to have access to the customs tariff prevailing in several countries in different languages namely English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.The BITD website can be ascessed on www.bitd.org.

Range of Import Duties

The current customs tariffs consist of four tariff bands, namely 0%, 15 %, 10% and 30%. Specific duties are applied on certain clothing items.Classification of products for customs purposes: Exported and imported goods are classified according to the 2007 Version of Harmonised System Commodity Description and Coding System (H.S.).

Customs Valuation


The dutiable value of imported goods is based on the CIF value.
