Members of the business community were apprised of the opportunities and facilities offered by the European Development Finance Institutions during a half-day workshop organized jointly by the MCCI and the Delegation of the EU on 14 June 2010 at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel in Port-Louis.

Presentation were made by Mrs. Heike Rüttgers, Deputy Advisor - Southern Africa and Indian Ocean, European Investment Bank and by Mr. Michel Gauthey, Director of the Agence Française pour le Développement, with focus on Infrastructure Trust Fund.
