A high-level delegation from China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong visited the Chamber on the 2nd February 2010.

The delegation, led by Mr. Si Qingwei, Vice President, CCPIT Guangdong, comprised Mr. Chen Changhan and Ms. Feng Jing, respectively Vice Inspector and Deputy section Chief of the CCPIT Guangdong and Mr. Wu Sirong, Director, Foreign Affairs Office, People’s Republic of China.

The objective of the visit was to create a better platform for investment, trade and business activities between Guangdong and Mauritius.

In his speech, the President of the MCCI, Mr. Kiran Juwaheer emphasized on the excellent relations existing between the CCPIT Guangdong and the MCCI since the signing of an MOU between the two parties in September 2008.
