On the occasion of the 160th Anniversary of the foundation of the Chamber, a Gala Dinner was organized on the 22nd January 2010 at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre.

Around 350 Members and Guests turned up for the event. The Guests of Honour were the President of the Republic of Mauritius, the Rt. Hon. Sir Anerood Jugnauth, GCSK, KCMG, QC and Lady Jugnauth.

The evening was highlighted by the projection of a film on the history of the Chamber and a selection of live songs and music.
