The Chamber's Information Department collects,
analyses, stores and updates information on a wide range of
topics in relation to local and external trade, industry,
services sector and national accounts. This information is
processed, archived, and made available on request.
In addition, the MCCI receives regularly offers and requests
for the supply of goods and services, requests for the identification
of business partners, proposals for business partnerships
and other types of communications on commercial events, conferences
and publications. All such information is analysed and made
available to members through circular letters and monthly
bulletins.

The MCCI's website
provides comprehensive information on the country's
basic characteristics, its economic set-up and data,
its various sectors and types of activities, the private
sector's organisational set-up and functioning, and
the Chamber's mission and activities. The website
contains a number of databases including :

The MCCI also publishes regular documents on trade and commerce
in order to keep its Members informed of the developments
that are taking place locally and internationally. These are:-

3. 'CCI Info', a quarterly magazine
4. Chamber News
5. World Directories of Chambers
of Commerce
Other Publications are also available at
the Chamber. These are :
(i) How to approach banks;
(ii) Trade Secrets : The Export Answer Book for Small and
Medium Sized Exporters and;
(iii) The 'How to export' Manual
The MCCI runs a fully computerised Documentation Centre
at the Chamber's premises in Port-Louis which houses trade
directories, magazines and other publications from all over
the world that can be consulted during office hours.
